Our World: Saudi Arabia Censorship


Another example of censorship in Saudi Arabia - In a mall in Jeddah, this huge advertisement shows the woman's face on the left is blurred out while the man's and children's faces are not.  *sigh*

This is absurd. I find it funny that in the West men don't think of women's faces as particularly sexy. In Saudi Arabia, since you see only parts of the face, that is what becomes sexy. It isn't women who need to be covered up, it is men who need to stop thinking of sex every moment.
