Movenpick Resort on the Red Sea

I don't think I've ever seen another building quite like the Movenpick Resort Hotel of Jeddah.  It is a favorite of photographers in the area for its unusual architectural shape resembling a conch shell.  The resort is quite striking in its location on an island in the Red Sea right off of Jeddah's coastline.

It is a unique structure in a beautiful setting.

The shape of the building gives it a tropical look. One would expect a place with drinks music and fun. I would assume Saudis wouldn't like that kind of fun, at least at home.
